Girls Camp-Monday July 9th

Girls Camp! I was excited to get to go again this year. We had four leaders: Mindy, Carrie, Aleshia, and me;five girls in our cabin-Shae, Aubrey, Marinn, Syree, and Amelia; and two girls were YCLs in the stake cabins-Sara and Savanah. At 6am Monday we loaded up in the buses and headed off to Heber Valley Girls Camp. This camp is just gorgeous and the spirit is so strong all around, we are so lucky to get to go every year.
After unloading off the buses and unloading the truck and trailer, we had a special speaker. She talked about her trials with leukemia at age 16 and turning to Him. Then we did a service project. We were making baby rattles, rolling yarn, and tying quilts.
Sara showing Amelia and Syree how to make the baby rattles.
Shae, Marinn, and Sara working on the baby rattles.
Sara showing off her messy book.
Messy books are like a journal that you put scrapbook paper on random pages, write in, and tape random things in. It's like a journal except you might have rocks and sticks taped in it. Our ward made them last year and this year too.
Playing the cup game at dinner.
The YCLs introducing this years camp theme and showing off their flag for their country.
The theme this year was "The Light Within" and it was an Olympic theme. The YCLs were London, since they were "hosting" the Olympics. Their color was white-Faith. Our ward was Germany and our color was purple-Integrity.YCLs teaching everyone the camp dance. It was fun to have a dance this year and just have something else to do and bring the group together.Everyone doing the camp dance. That is my ward in the purple sweatshirts.

Clark Family Reunion

July 4th weekend was the Clark Family Reunion. Ryann and I headed up the mountain to join the festivities.
Of course no girl can go on the mountain without her Minnie purse...and Minnie shopping cart.

Saturday there was a "carnival". Each family made their own booth.
Family picture
Cotton candy being thoroughly enjoyed by Nora.
Ryann patiently waiting for her funny face balloon. This was Ryann's favorite booth. A pool full of water, how could she not love it. There were ducks floating in a pool and you had to pick a duck with a certain color dot to win. Ryann is holding her winnings (a snake).
The water was fun, but Ryann couldn't do this one; spray the water in the target.
She still got a squirt gun just for stopping by the booth.
A pretty, fuzzy, blue bracelet for doing the ring toss.
Wagon time with Nora
The reunion was fun and Ryann had blast.

Great Grandpa Stewart

Ryann loves her Great Grandpa Stewart. She loves to cuddle with him in his chair, with their dog Lacey near by.
Ryann and I went over for dinner when Clint was out of town. While cleaning up, Ryann grabbed Great Grandpa and was telling him "Cmon" (come on). Great Grandpa said he was tired, but sure enough he ended up outside with her.
Yes, those are socks on her hands. She put them on all by herself.
Great Grandpa is always up for playing with whatever toy Ryann brings over to him.
Such cute play pals.
And of course kisses from Lacey are always a plus in Ryann's book.

No Cheese

Ryann was on the step stool putting her toys in her pockets. I love that she found the pockets in her clothes and watching her fill the pockets up.
All I wanted to do was catch a picture of her filling her pockets...
and she tells me "No cheese" and throws her arm over her eyes. That is a picture of her telling me whats up.
Great, only two and already refusing to take pictures.

Water

Ryann loves being outside, especially when water is involved.
Playing in a puddle.
Yes, that would be Ryann drinking the water like a dog.
I bought Ryann a little pool to play in.
She loves it!She also loves throwing everything in the pool.

Singing and dancing in the pool while Maggie gets a drink.
I pulled out Ryann swimsuits to ask her which one she wanted to wear. She made me put both on her.
Mickey got to play in the pool too. Lucky Mickey. He just needed some time to dry out afterwards.
Water and cousins...what could make this girl happier!
Going down the slide.

Going back up the slide.Ryann had so much fun playing with Everett, Maci, and Porter in the pool.

Dad Visits-June

My dad was out in Utah again to speak at EFY. He came out early and spent the weekend with us.At Farr's Fresh, eating ice cream with Opa.
Ryann insisted mom and Opa go outside with her. She wore her sunglasses then put them on top of her head like she sees me do.Maggie kisses

Sunday we had dinner at Clint's parent's house so Stan could show off his new smoker. Our friends Boone and Kiara came too.

The girls had a lot of fun playing with Kiara's sister.
Hugs! and Maycee trying to escape.
My dad had a German poem that he would say and bounce Ryann on his knee.

The end of the poem she would bounce off his knee. She loved it!
It was so great having my dad out again!
